HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host for now because I am still staying with my parents but I'd be glad to show couchsurfers around the country in my spare time. I really like to travel though and would be really appreciative if I get a couch to crash on. If you can offer that i'd be glad to bring you something you'd like from my country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Istanbul, Turkey as well as in Northern Cyprus during my exchange semester in Turkey during the fall of 2014. Also, when I was in Europe for a summer programme in mid 2016, I got the opportunity to couchsurf in Krakow, Poland as well as Basel and St Gallen in Switzerland. They were lovely experiences and the hosts were amazing. Looking forward to more couchsurfing experiences in time to come.

Music, movies , theatre or any sort of art intrigues me as well.

I enjoy people's good company as i believe that doing a fun thing with boring people would make the whole thing boring.

I read quite a bit. Started with non fiction like 'How to win friends and influence people' by Dale Carnegie.

Moved on to reading various fiction books. I enjoy Dan Brown books like the Da Vinci code and also law related novels by John Grisham.

The romantic in me appreciates Nicholas Sparks books and movies like the Notebook and A walk to remember. Romcoms or romantic comedies always have my attention as well.

As for music, I like RnB, rap, some pop or rock songs and I do appreciate music from different countries and languages. Songs like La Vie En Rose which is in French and I have no idea what the lyrics mean are very soothing to my ears.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'd say there's lots of things that i have experienced.
One of the most amazing or bizarre one is during my National Service stint as a police officer. I had to attend to a Gunshot case which is really very rare in Singapore and figure out what actually happened.

I am an educator now. I can officially teach Mathematics and English but unofficially I can and am willing to impart and share my knowledge on all things that I may be better at.

I'm learning Arabic and Mandarin as languages and we can pick them up together.

I can code and programme quite a bit.

I fold origami and am keen in handicrafts.

Most importantly, I'm interested in what you are good at so that perhaps we can share and learn from each other.
