À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the World One Bite At A Time

ABOUT ME

21. Born and raised in Brooklyn. Obsessed with anything culinary. Received my associates degree at age 18 from my high school, went to Hospitality School at Boston University and graduated with a grand dimplome in Pastry Arts from the French Culinary School.
Has a singular cheek dimple. Travel addict & wants to expand her horizons. The only food she hates are bananas (literally, only food - she’s eaten pig balls, duck tongue, live termites and some more unknown goodies). Loves to photograph & meet the unexpected. Thoughtful, helpful & always smiling and laughing.

PHILOSOPHY

One of the best ways to make yourself happy, is to make other people happy.
One of the best ways to make other people happy, is to be happy yourself.

The eye must travel.

I've gotten rid of nearly all my tangible belongings and packed what I have into my backpack with a small amount of money in my pocket ready to explore the world while I have the time and nothing holding me back. Because if not now, then when?

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you are willing to let me crash on the couch for however long you are able, I will return the favor to the best of my ability. Since I am traveling for an extended period of time I cannot offer my couch in exchange but I will gladly help to clean and cook and do whatever else may need doing around the household.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just started with couchsurfing so I have no experience to write of, yet! Hopefully each and every one will be as great as the last!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Most music with the exception of a lot of current country and heavy metal (although I understand everyone digs what they dig).
Artisits: Bob Dylan, Die Antwoord, Passion Pit, Ingrid Michaelson, Jurassic 5, Johnny Cash, and most things in between

Movies: Almost Famous, Snatch, Goodfellas, Clueless, Life is Beautiful, The Shining, and Inglorious Bastards to name a few

Books: I read To Kill A Mockingbird nearly every year, any cookbook, To The Lighthouse, anything by Roald Dahl

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I think one of my most memorable days was when I was volunteering in Costa Rica, schlepping logs through a muddy jungle to build a children's playground, cooked lunch with a tarantula near by, and played a game of football with the local children before helping on the coffee farm that evening.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love to cook and bake and would love to do so with and for you! I am attempting to keep a blog whilst traveling and trying to accrue recipes from most locations I will be traveling to. Let me use your couch and I am happy to clean & cook & feed!
