Über mich
Update: currently I'm on the bicycle trip across Brazil (and the rest of South America), hence I'm looking for some safe place to hang my hammock or pitch my tent.
Atualização: atualmente estou viajando de bicicleta pelo Brasil (e pelo resto da América do Sul), por isso estou procurando um lugar seguro para pendurar minha rede ou armar minha barraca.
I'm new experience-seeking, honest and humble eastern European individual. People tell me that I have some mad-shit-crazy sense of humor, some love it, some hate it. Raised in deep countryside, lived in different places, traveled a lot. In fact, I'm pretty much on the move for last 7 years or so, no jokes.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
Lovely way to meet people all around the blue planet, that's way.
Can't accept hosts at the moment, because will not have permanent residence for at least a year to come. Part of being hardcore traveler, eh?
Interessen
I love spending time outdoors, I guess I'm pretty much nature freak. Music is another passion of mine, I spend great deal of my time just listening to all kinds of records. I play some guitar myself too. Obsession for travelling kinda combines all of that. I'm avid hitch-hiker, although use other means of travelling more and more often. bike-packing is my new passion. Oh yeah, and rambling about history, politics, music or literature is significant part of my life as well.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Complete music addict with pretty eclectic taste. Started with 60's and 70's rock in my teenage years, moved to blues, folk, jazz, funk, soul and so on later on. Last few years really deeply into Latin American music, especially MPB and rock from Argentina. I can literally talk about music all day. And listen all day and all night.
Books? I used to be really into classic French/Russian/American novels when I was younger (not that I feel that old yet, ha ha), but lately I'm so much into being on the road that hardly find any time for reading.
I'm constantly nerding something on topics of nature (especially biodiversity/ecology), geopolitics and history.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Well... I've crossed entire South American Chaco region on bicycle, that was really tough and rough, but sort of special for me.
Among other things I've hitch-hiked across Mexico and every single country in central America, h-hiked through Patagonia, been to most of the countries in Europe, h-hiked across Poland 23 times (if 'm not mistaken) and so on...
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I can teach you some outdoors stuff &camping; I can give you your first guitar lesson.
Always looking forward to practice new (and old) languages, I speak English, Spanish and my native Lithuanian, currently working on my Portuguese.
I used to teach people English, hence I could help you work out on yours.
Oh, and I'm biologist/biology teacher by trade, I don't
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
Well, depends on your interests, my friend! I mean, I can share a bunch of stories, like most long-term backpackers, I guess.
I'm arguably the best person to go out to hike or camp and explore the natural wilderness. I also might be pretty entertaining at your local jam session.
