About Me

Born in Prague, Czechia, grew up on a small village south of Prague, came back there for my university studies and since then it's my base where I'm always coming back from my travels.

I did many kind of odd jobs while being a student to make some extra money, mostly being a bartender and receptionist but many more, after my uni I randomly got the priviledge to get a job in wind turbine construction sector. I worked there two years, travelled around many random places of Germany and Sweden, saw many incredible views from the top of the turbine and all the mysterious things that turbine hides in itself and saved up quite a nice sum to enjoy long sabatical full of travelling.

Currently I'm on my way to Australia to do work and holiday there, with stopover in South East Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel of course I', interested into all the touris attractions, historical sights, buildings, natural wonders etc etc but I'm also a lot into getting the local perspective, as it can give you so much more insight into how is life in a different place and you can discover a lot that was hidden before.

Couchsurfing is such a great tool for connecting travellers and locals. I made some great friendships around the world while using this app and had amazing experiences that would be impossible without it.

I also like how it enables to travel people who don't have money for hotels or airbnb, especially in expensive parts of the world it's great.

When I'm at home I enjoy showing foreigners around and taking them to more hidden places where I go with my friends.

I studied very broad degree incorporating history, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, ecology, environmental protection, politics... So I like to learn about and discuss these topics.
