About Me

I'm a Québécoise (French Canadian) that has done some cyclotouring and then working in a craft beer bar in New Zealand, and now I came back to Canada to enjoy some time with my people and study physics. New kind of adventures, as challenging and uplifting as ever. Now, connecting with people, travellers and locals, is the way I fulfill my need fro travel from home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned to be a guest through a hosting website for cyclists and I loved it! It is just incredible to be welcome in a home to get to know the people, share a bit of the lifestyle and sometimes make friends on the long term. I also like the fact that each couchsurfing experience is unique, far away from "just another place to stay". It is really about sharing a tiny bit of who we are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling across New Zealand, really. It is not that amazing since we have met a lot of people that have done it faster than me or in harder conditions. But in the end, it is not a matter of how long was the journey or how high were the hills, it is a personal achievement. I am still half-believing that we made it, and enjoyed it so much!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking especially for fellow humans, so be careful... if you leave me into a kitchen, amazing things can happen!
