About Me

I'm a very friendly and easy-going girl from the Czech Republic. I grew up in Liberec (a city in the North) where I also study at Technical University.
I have an older sister which tought me how to survive in jungle (sister jungle, not the real one). I also have 6 cousins (only girls!) which made me little competitive. I'm a dreamer with a big heart, I believe that good always wins and unicorns exist. And I love to laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion, couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet new friends and I believe that meeting new people and sharing your life stories is the best way to grow.
I've joined because when I began to travel alone, I found out it's nice to have someone to talk with and laugh. Now I just think that making friends all around the world is an amazing experience. Meeting differend cultures and talking to random people certainly makes you a better person. You burst your little bubble for a while and see the world the way it actually is.

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS
Harry Potter, of course. I grew up hoping to recieve my own invitation to Hogwarts. Unfortunately, I never did, so instead of becoming a witch, I just read about them.
Wild by Cheryl Stryde. One of the stories that is a lot deeper than you would've expected. How do you recognize a good book? It makes you think. I wish more people had that ability.
Pride and Prejudice. Even though it is an "old fashioned" book, you still can see the story at every corner. It's brilliant and hilarious.
Currently reading - Gone Girl. I love it so far even though I can't really tell an opinion unil I'm finished.

MOVIES
Seven Years in Tibet. What a film...
A Map for Saturday. Not many people know this one but it really is a must-seen film for everyone who loves to travel. It tells amazing stories of people from all around the world about what it's like to travel on your own.
Dirty Dancing. I just love it.
