ABOUT ME

My parents are Sicilan/Italians but I was born and grew up in France. I am a little girl with a sturdy character. Curious and voluntary, I am a energetic ! :) naturally optimistic I love meet new person and discovery other country, landscape, culture, friends... I'm student in Conservation Restauration of art objets and I am CRAZY of my studies, I'm really lucky to do something that make me feel so happy !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to discover a real culture and the daily life of the people of a region or a country. There is a sincerity and authenticity in this system, and it create a real link between the host and the traveler. I want to meet people, make strange jokes and learn more about other's culture :)

Interests

I am volunteer in humanitarian association (Amnesty International). I directed a group of teenagers for Amnesty International and we made many activities of sensibilisation.

I am crazy of art, I love to visit art gallery, museum or to meet artist. I love drawing and painting, I draw comics (you can found me on internet on the name Ginna Pétralia) . I love sewing and create clothes.

I love sport (except running...). I practice wrestling and grappling :) I have practiced rugby, horse ride (at a good level) and handball.

I like cooking and discovering other food or tradition of other country ! I cook very well French dessert and Sicilian/Italian food, I can teach you some tips ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

As Bourdieu said "you should have to educate your aesthetic taste" and that's what I am trying to do every day. I'm not fan of popular songs (exept if it's for dancing with my friends ahah).

I love cinema and theater. I could go to theater or opera often, it depend of my mood (and my money ahah). I read a lot, most of the time philosophy but classical litterature or modern book too.

I love science fiction moovies (equilibrium), fantastic (The lord of rings) war moovies (eyes of war) and western (my name is Nobody). I love all of the other sort, except horror movies...

I like to play videogames on computer or Xbox, depends of my mood...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you tips to sew, to paint, or draw. Italien and French cook :) and I can teach you French of course !
