ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Rhea, a jack of all trades with a special love for gorgeous places. I work as a webdesigner / art director at an interactive agency in Poland. After hours I'm a singer, composer, occasional photographer and fantasy writer, among other things. I'm absolutely addicted to all kinds of tea, and I love cats. I speak fluent Polish and English, as well as fairly communicative Japanese and German, although I'm pretty shy about those. ;)

I'm easygoing and I don't have any special needs while traveling. I am, however, horrible with directions and maps, so any guidance is always more than appreciated. I'm a bookworm rather than a party animal, so expect no excess noise while I'm around, except maybe the frantic turning of pages... :)

I never travel without books, usually fantasy titles, of which I still have a looong to-read list waiting for more free time. I'm more into the green than the concrete, so I'm always looking for lovely places in the midst of nature, quiet if possible. I sure love to visit cities, too, but in the long run, nothing beats peace and quiet. :) I don't travel nearly as often as I'd like, but when I do, it's always because the place I'm going has special meaning of some kind. I'm currently planning a long-postponed trip to Kyoto, Japan, for early 2015.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live by the 'hic et nunc' philosophy, which means, 'here and now'. I have no religious affiliation but I come somewhat close to Buddhism in my worldview. I'm happy to answer any questions. Cheers!
