ABOUT ME

Once I got kicked out of a Home Depot. They thought I was a spy from Lowes. So, there's that.

I moved to Austin for grad school after five mostly excellent years at Virginia Tech.

I dance lindy hop and balboa. I teach for Houston Swing Dance Society.

I have three moms. All of them live in Northern Virginia (DC metro area), as does my younger sister. Some day I may move back there, but that day seems far away indeed. California is probably next.

Finally, know that I am related to Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore by marriage (not my marriage!). It's true! Ask me sometime. (Update: I took real-life Dumbledore's grandson and his wife, my cousin out for Texas barbecue a few months back. They said it tasted magical.)
