I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and I'm searching for people with whom I would like to share part of the road.

ABOUT ME

I am a Czech student currently living in Turku, Finland.

I am a bit shy and quiet but easy-going, polite, a non-smoker. :) I am more of a listener than a talker.

I am a vegan for ethical reasons and it's an important part of my life. It has made me more open-minded, aware of my life choices and it has helped me improve my critical thinking skills.

I study humanities at Charles University in Prague and currently I'm trying to figure out what to do next.

I like quiet places and deeper conversations. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed once and I haven't hosted anybody yet but I'm looking forward to getting into Couchsurfing more!

Interests

I like sightseeing, walks, taking pictures, tasting good food, cooking (especially veganizing dishes), reading, watching TV shows, listening to music. I like learning new languages even though I haven't learnt much yet. :) I speak Czech and English and a little bit French and Finnish.

I'm interested in animal studies, gender studies, human and animal rights.
Next I'd love to visit Croatia.

Music, Movies, and Books

TV shows: lately I'm into Xena, the Warrior Princess and Modern Family. :D
Music: I don't mind any genre really but my favorite bands are Within Temptation, Evanescence, Nightwish and I have a thing for Marina and the Diamonds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved my first authentic finnish sauna experience. I was enjoying sauna all by myself in Kurjenrahka park, the cool down phase was done - of course - in a nearby lake!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook. I can sure teach you how to prepare some of my favorite dishes.

I have some experience in teaching Czech language, if you wish to learn some or want to practice your knowledge, we sure can do that. :)
