About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To coexist in harmony with all the cosmos and myself.

ABOUT ME

I consider myself a very curious guy, who likes to ask lots of questions to anyone, about everything. I think that everything is interesting, so I keep looking for a little knowledge everywhere.
I'm very authentic (spontaneous), sometimes more than some people could bare.
I enjoy so much with contact with nature and experimenting emotions at contemplating art, even if I don't understand it.

PHILOSOPHY

Absolute tolerance, open mindedness and respect: I'm about to believe that the fundamental question nowadays is not "Why?" anymore, but "Why not?", as long as it lies inside the respect for human rights and life in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing after he went to Rio de Janeiro. I found extremely cool the concept of this initiative and wanted to know more about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been attending to meetings with the group in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil.

Interests

First, I'm starting to like traveling, it will be soon one of my main interests. By now, I like reading philosophy, swimming, running, practicing Yoga (and a little of Capoeira, but I'm not good), listening to music, and having long conversations with someone I consider interesting. I love silence and solitude more than an average person. I like to meditate.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's been a long time I don't read literature. The last years of my life I've been reading philosophical treatments and scientific papers. I like Popper, Descartes, Quine, Mark Twain and Sade. Lately, the texts I read are from not so well known people.
I'm not so enthusiast about films, but I like "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" and "Mr. Nobody".
About music, I like Jazz in almost all its forms (except Gypsy and Smooth) and Latin-American Contemporary Music (Ginastera, Villa Lobos, de Soares, Angulo, Uribe Holguin, and a long etcetera).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Brasil, it has been an incredible experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to share everything I've learned during my life. I can share the aspects of my culture, the little I know about food and dances, my experiences in my few trips and the interesting people I've met.
