21 year old girl, born in Reunion Island, grew up in France, currently doing my studies in Montreal (Concordia University), eager to go in exchange in Sweden (Lund University) in september 2017 !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Toronto, August 2017, 4 days with my best friend Andrea. Had the nicest guest, Matheus. We stayed on a mattress on the floor and it was just was we needed.
We went to the Scarborough bluffs beach (and went in the water!), Cherry beach, we ate ethopian food... We originally went to Toronto to go to the TIME festival and we saw Mac Demarco, Badbadnotgood, Die Antwoord.
It was an amazing time!

Interests

I love to cook and to eat!
And also enjoy reading, chilling, meeting people, partying, biking around cities, ice and roller skating, watching movies, going to museum (especially Art ones, my favorite museum are the Moma and the Tate), learning new things, and of course travelling.
I very recently started buying diposable cameras. I know it s not very sustainable (:/), but it s my way to start photography !

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies : I enjoy going to the movies, comedies, action, super heroes... Anything really., except horror movies (sorry, i cant handle it).
Also I really enjoy Bollywood movies (the music, the danse, brings me so much happyness!! And it reminds me of my trip of 2013, i went to Jaipur)

Book: My fav Catcher in the Rye, i really like reading. I m lazy to read in english though, so i read in french. Mostly fiction.

Music: I listen to and like almost everything (except heavy metal...)

Cat stevens, The black keys, the kooks, The Arcs, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Jain, Kamaiyah, Kanye West (more old stuff, Graduation is my fav),
I discovered Jazz manouche with Django reinhardt, I love Cyrille Aimé, Alice Francis, I enjoy electro swing with Deluxe...
I lived 3 years in Montréal, yes I love Celine and i m not ashamed ;) !
I also like 90-2000 classics, they make me danse (and I love dancing!)
I m a music junkie, I love discovering new stuff and have phases, so any suggestions is welcome!
Take me to a Karaoke place and i ll sing hit the road jack, or any variété française

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving !
And also recently did bungee, 60 meters high, I can't describe the feeling. It was just simply A W E S O M E .

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to talk with people, and share experiences with them, to learn about their culture, share interests and funny stories.

I want to learn how to knit ! I ve been trying for 3 years... Its been a failure so far.
But i can teach how to sew. I can cook/help cook! I love cooking.
