About Me

Hallo!

I'm Bram, and I pick flowers for a living, practice kick boxing, play theater and study architecture. Quit divers: I like to try out new things and meet new people. Traveling is one of the best days to do so: I've been a soccer coach in Tanzania, and intern in Shanghai and a student at a Brazilian university.

I'm an energetic and outgoing person, and I I'm a good listener but like to talk as well.

The next trip I'm going to do is bus/hitch hiking tour through the US and I hope couch surf hosts can help me to meet a lot of people over the states, that can help me to learn everything about their city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

By hosting I hope to look at the place I live through the eyes of a foreigner. In that way I appreciate my own city and country even more.

By surfing I have the opportunity to really get to know the flow of the city. Locals know the city better and they can tell me about the culture of the city. By couch surfing instead of sleeping at a hostel I got chance on finding both a guide and a friend to have a drink with and to talk with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jacques Brel, the Doors, David Bowie and more.

I read a lot of Dutch literature and can give you good recommendations about books from my home country. Last years I've started to read English literature as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A train trip to Tibet, ending up getting drunk with a bunch of German dentists.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like languages and I've always wanted to learn to play an instrument. Friends bought me a harmonica, but I didn't get the chance to learn to play it yet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good company, decent cooking skills and a invitation to get a tour through the tulip area in Holland.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Morocco

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, China, Netherlands, Tanzania
