My current mission is to travel around the United Kingdom and Ireland in 4 weeks time!

ABOUT ME

My name is Esra and I'm a Dutch girl by the age of 20 (I'll turn 21 in June). I live in Nijmegen at the moment and I study at the HAN, one of the colleges here. I'm studying to become a teacher in the future and the subject that I want to teach is English. Because of this, I'm doing a study abroad in Birmingham from January 2014 to June 2014 to improve my English and to learn as much about the United Kingdom and Ireland. To make my study abroad complete, I'm planning on travelling around (London-Brighton-Cambridge-Liverpool-Manchester-Edinburgh-Glasgow-Belfast-Dublin).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never been a couch surfing before nor have I ever been a host before. The reason for that was because I considered myself to be to young. But now I feel like I'm ready to travel around the world and to meet a lot of lovely people and to help other people by offering them a place to stay.

My sister has been a couch surfer (and host) for quite some years now and I love the stories she told.

Of course, something might go wrong but I always intend to make it a great stay for myself and for those who are visiting me!

Interests

I'll make a short list of things that I'm interested in:
-History and mythology
-Education (since I'm a teacher)
-Reading (usually I read Young Adult Fiction because of my Education but I like to read Fantasy Books as well)
-Bartending (that's my part time job)
-Gaming (I have my own consule and love to play)
-Music (I want to start playing the guitar this summer)
-Movies and series (Game of Thrones, Rome, The Hobbit, Disney movies, Seven, etc.)
-Travelling (of course)
-Hanging out with friends

Hobbies:
-Sport (fitness but I'm always in for a nice game of Volleyball or Football)
