I´m trying to improve my Spanish and learn children´s songs in all the languages

ABOUT ME

In Portland, I volunteer at a nonprofit bicycle repair collective. In Guatemala, I´ve been learning how to solder and build bicimáquinas (pedal powered machines). I also teach a weekly leadership class in Spanish to a group of Guatemalan girls. I built gardens from scratch in both places. I pick fruit and then bake desserts, like, all the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite days was in the middle of a nine day bike tour through the Cascades in Oregon. At the summit of McKenzie Pass, we parked our bikes and ran through hardened lava rocks. It was like Mars.
