ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in Antwerp, where I was born and raised. I'm staying with my parents for a while, so I can't accept guests (had to leave my previous awesome apartment, so I'm currently looking for something new). Right now I work in Ghent, and I travel all over Europe for my job - organizing events. I am usually engaged in all kinds of projects, because I love keeping busy and meeting people. When interacting with people, I'm usually very honest, direct and open. I love hearing stories from others, as well as telling some myself!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to hosting people, and showing them around. I don't always have a lot of time, but if I do, I will sure show you why I love Antwerp so much! Though I lived in Antwerp my whole life, when you show a city to someone else you sometimes see it differently yourself. I find that interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not a lot! I've hosted a couple of people, but haven't couch surfed myself. People are really grateful though, when they stay with you, and you learn something new from every single one of them.

Movies, Games, Journalism, Photography, Writing, Reading, Boardgames, Traveling, Cooking, Eating, Walking/Hiking, Beer, etc.
Well, usualy I'm open for most things, but I can be a real geek as well. Don't let this scare you, I have more common interests as well! But if you start talking to me about Game of Thrones, Doctor Who or something like that, be prepared, cause we'll be talking for a while. But it's not like I stay indoors all the time: I love going out, but although I like a good party, I'm not the kind of girl to go to a dance-event. Give me a good beer in a good bar, and I'm happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch and read a lot. I prefer older movies, but I can enjoy recent stuff as well. Miyazaki, Hitchcock, Tarantino, but I also watch a romantic comedy from time to time. I mostly read fantasy books (I've read A Song of Ice and Fire before the series came out, I'm such a hipster) but to be honest, I read anything I get my hands on. Right now, I have 8 Terry Pratchett books waiting for me, that makes me quite happy.
