ABOUT ME

I am a fan of lots of things!
Mostly including (but not limited to):
climbing, slack-lining, running, cycling, juggling and other sports; photography (beginner enthusiastic amateur)
cartography and geoinformatics, other computer related stuff =) translating TV show and movie subtitles from English to Czech; of course traveling, largely limited by finances; trying out growing bonsai trees for a week or two =D

My motto is that life is grey and boring without fun of any kind =)

I try to find fun and purpose in anything. I like exact sciences, to know how things work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I have little to none Couchsurfing experience so far, but I look forward to meet fellow Couchsurfers in my hometown and elsewhere, hopefully find a couch to crash on during some travels and be a host myself when I have my own place after finishing studies =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

almost none. I helped a friend of mine to find a place to stay in SF, LA and LV in USA when she went for a trip.

Monty Python, Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher and Guy Ritchie movies among lots of others.
For example Into the Wild, 127 hours, Fight Club, Drive and Touching the Void are one of my favorite movies.

From books I enjoy fantasy and absurd humour kind. George R. R. Martin, Terry Pratchett, John R. R. Tolkien, David Mitchell are a few of the authors, whose books I would like reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed an unfinished bridge pillar Adolf Hitler built as a part of planned highway from Austria to Poland. Climbing it with just the aid of bolts attached to the concrete wall and climbing bolts used for belaying was quite an adventure worth mentioning.

I can help people get to know rock climbing and get better at it without killing themselves.
I like to share any knowledge I have, be it cartography, photography or anything.
