Hi! My name is Josefina and I'm from Pinamar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, but since September 2018 I’m living in Sydney, Australia.

I am overall a quiet but adventurous girl trying to get to know herself better. I am very ambitious and sometimes I have crazy ideas because nothing is impossible the way I see it.
At the moment I am travelling and working in hospitality in different countries. My purporse is to have a wide view of the world, make lots of friends, learn about their cultures and learn as many languages as possible. I have been travelling since 2014 and I couldn’t be happier with all the experiences I went through.

I could define myself as easy-going, chilled and open-minded. I love to get to know people in a deep level, know their backround and finally get into good conversations to understand the way they see the world and their purpose in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I think it's the best way to meet people with similar interests as mine. People who love to travel and learn new interesting things, who may want to show me around or show me the real essence of a local. I had some experience as surfer and it has been amazing! It made me realise that Couchsurfing is much more than just having a place to sleep, it's about sharing, talking, learning and having fun. I seriously love this

Interests

I love languages, learning them and being able to practise them with native speakers. I also like teaching my own language and what I know. I enjoy debating about grammar, pronunciation, and language in general.
I am very curious, I like to travel and experience new things. I am very eager to grow up into someone with knowledge on many things, someone who has lived an adventurous life with stories to tell.
I enjoy the nature, going camping and doing things that go beyond my limits as they always turn out to be the most memorable adventures. I like drawing, hiking, cycling, sunrises, sunsets, good company, music, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Sicily, the land of my ancestors, to see whether I could find family. With the help of my now friend Giorgio, who I met through Couchsurfing, I found the house of my great grandfather in Petralia Soprana. It was a beautiful discovery that makes me proud to think of and a memory I will never forget. It was absolutely mind blowing to see the similarities between the culture in this part of Italy to the culture in Argentina and my family.
