About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Saving the world. Oh, and smiling, lots of smiling.
ABOUT ME
I am a very happy person. I enjoy talking, and tend to do quite a lot of it. I like learning new things, seeing new things, and meeting new people, oh, and eating new food.
I am caring, exited, and hope to make a difference in this world some day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My boyfriend and I live together in a small apartment in central Oslo. We have a sofabed where we accommodate guests.
Just so we're clear: I am not on CS to chat with people I don't know (then I would use something else), so don't send me "hello"s, or try to use me for language-learning. I understand that would be nice for you, but then use a different forum.
We will not under any circumstances host more than two people, so no need to ask. This is because of our bathroom and kitchen facilities, so it makes no difference if you can sleep on the floor or not.
Also: use requests. I get so many requests, that if you send only a message you are guaranteed to be lost, and I will not be able to answer you. And please do write something about why I should host exactly you, because the mere fact that you are traveling is already quite obvious, and does not tell me much.
I can also meet up for a beer or a coffee probably.
Interests
I like reading, music and traveling.
I am also into politics, and nothing is more fun than a nice discussion, to share points of view, either on politics or other subjects.
I also have great pleasure in cloud watching, which I find incredibly fascinating. This is very nicely combined with my love of being out of doors, and especially my love for the ocean.
I like to eat good food, drink nice wines, and also take a great interest in different types of beer.
Most of all, I like people. Getting to know them, discuss with them, learn from them.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love arts, that be movies, music, literature or theater.
In movies, I am a girl for chicflics as much as I love an old B/W-movie, or a Kusturica-movie. Some of my favourites are "Casablanca", "Jeux des enfants", "the notebook" and "Burnt by the sun".
In music, I love to listen to classical music, but know far too little. On the other hand, I love rock and indie music, and know a lot, and have also been to many concerts and festivals. Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Of monsters and men, Chairlift, Pink Floyd. Well, there's a lot.
I love reading books, and I work part time in a bookstore. I love Tolstoy, Brönte (both), Norwegian classics, but also Paulina Simons, "One Day", and that kind of thing. Some of my favourites are "Anna Karenina", "How to kill a mocking bird", "Wuthering Heights", "The bronze horseman" and "When God was a rabbit".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunrise on mount Sinai.
Setting foot on the Tahrir square.
White wine on a balcony in Saint-Paul de Vence.
Wandering in the great Hagia Sophia in December.
