About Me
Kinda of settled down now in Sydney after my long backpack trip. Still have short trips every now and then. Unable to host at the moment because I'm staying home with parents. (saving up while planning to do further study) But happy to meet new people.
Hello fellow couchsurfer. This is Meng. 100% Sydney-Sider.

My friends complain that I'm always on holiday. And my lovely Chinese parents always look at me quizzically, totally unable to comprehend why I would want to go away again. Especially to a place they’ve barely heard of or can’t imagine in their entire lives ever wanting to visit.
What can I say?
"Once the travel bug bites, there is no known antidote. And I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life"
I'm an easy-going and friendly person. Also open-minded and love exploring different cultures. I'm happy to share my fun/crazy travelling stories (and my life stories) with others.
Hey, they are not just my illusional thoughts about myself, I have references to prove it, haha
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Im not someone who travels to have selfies at tourist sites. I rather go with wherever the road takes me. If I walk pass a museum, I will go and visit it. If I meet people along the way, we will sit down and grab a coffee/beer together.
CS helps me to meet interesting people and make some memorable moments together. And it feels great to be connected to people living on the other side of world.

Most importantly, you will have a good friend living on the other side of the world when you decide to fly all the way to Australia.
Sorry, as a typical second-generation Chinese immigrant, I DON'T cook any Chinese food! (Don't even like Chinese food that much. Sorry to disappoint those Chinese-food-lovers.) But I'm a passionated eater and a true foodie, so I'm always ready to share a meal with you. Also I can show how to order like a Chinese in a Chinese restaurant.
