ABOUT ME
Hello I'm Julie. I live in the most gorgeous of cities in Denmark, the very underrated Aarhus. I have lived in Aarhus my entire life, and love its hidden treasures. But as much as I love my city I long to leave to faraway destinations, and explore what the rest of the world has to offer. I am anti-materalistic and value simple living, I don't care about eating on fancy restaurants or buying pretty dresses, I would rather have a passport filled with stamps than a house full of stuff.
Singer - in the shower, writer, silly,
vegetarian, Eccentric, wild, lazy,
very open minded, artist, jazzy,
Goddamn difficult, a little crazy
PHILOSOPHY
Sometimes you have to do something completely meaningless what so ever

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
surfed once, hosted once. Both were really good experiences
Interests
I study social anthropology, which has also become one of my biggest interests. I love volunteering in humanitarian NGO's and fighting inequality. My biggest hobby is creating art - especially painting and drawing portraits. But above all what I love the most is traveling, which I usually combine with studying anthropology and culture, volunteering or making art.
Beside of that I love learning new things and skills, camping!, making balloon animals - which is also my job, seeing my friends and boyfriend, reading, going to museums

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2015 I traveled 3 months in Sri Lanka, Nepal and India. For two of the three months I volunteered as an English teacher in a village in India and at a boys orphanage, which was the most enriching experience I have ever had, and I have never seen such happy kids before in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about Danish culture and language. I can share with you my stories and experiences. I would like to learn about you and your culture.
