My current mission is to travel the world, enjoy every moment, meet amazing people and learn as much as possible from different (work)experiences.

About me… I’m an open minded, optimistic, easy going and honest person. I love meeting people from all over the world and during my travels I like to make myself useful by volunteering/wooffing/helping in any way. Of course I’m happy to tell you more about myself when we’ll meet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To be honest I’m mainly on the road.. but when I’m settled somewhere (which will probably take a few years) I’m happy to welcome travellers at my place!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I’ve only had a couple of couchsurfing experiences, but they were all amazing. It’s a great way to get more involved in the local life. Perfect for me cause I’m not a big fan of touristy stuff.

A couple of great movies: Slumdog millionaire, Billy Elliot, I am Sam.. Music: Selah Sue, Ben Howard, Mumford and sons, Classified, Chet Faker (well.. this list is endless). Books: I just started ‘the immoralist’ from André Gide

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This list is huge as well after several years of travelling. A couple of things I’ve done: I used to be a pedicabrider (biketaxi) in Byron Bay, a beautiful surftown in Australia. In New-Zealand I've been selling fruit and I’ve also worked in an art gallery in the south island. In Thailand (Koh Phi Phi) I’ve worked as a touroperator and in Vietnam I’ve been teaching universitystudents. Those were all great experiences to me!
