Hi, my name is Joël and I'm from the Netherlands. I love to travel and see places, but mainly beautiful nature sceneries such as forests, mountains and oceans. I like walking through nature and enjoy the view and sounds. I am a very relaxing person and don't worry or stress easily. I have lived in Brussel, Jerez de la Frontera and Seoul. Graduated 2 years ago and now more actively then ever searching for places to travel and see more of the world, as there is some much to see and so many cool people to meet.

I love listening to music, but mainly relaxing music since it feels good to drift away with the music.

Became vegetarian about a year ago.

Because I like meeting new people and what better way than to do that through Couchsurfing. Plus a friend recommended to me and only heard good stories.
So when I will be traveling it is easier to meet new people as well as learning more about the place where I currently am at.

Interessi

My interests is towards new technology to help move the world forward in a sustainable way.
Once I start reading a book I can't stop with it when it is exciting. I like informative books to train my mind.

Currently planning to pick up my Spanish again as I will be planning a backpack trip in 2 years to Spanish-speaking countries in South America.

Walking and traveling to see more of the world, and specifically, the untouched nature is what moves me.

Used to be a loot of trance (been listening to trance since 2000), but these days I mix it up more with Olafur Arnalds, indie music and jazz.
