ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded, widely interested person. I love new people, different cultures and sharing life with others. In my opinion that's one of the most important things: get to know others, without prejudices or fixed opinions in your head. I love long night-walks, discovering new cafés, baking and inviting my friends, hiking and discovering how small we human beings are in comparing with the wonderful earth. What more? I also love music and art and of course: READING a lot! :D
Life's about sharing; and I hope that I as a part of the whole can add something to that.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is the way to break prejudices.
It's the thing, which brings by discussing relative opinions together,
It's the reason why we think, like we think and therefore be, what we are.
It's the gate to the 'otherness of others'.
Philosophy is the love for knowledge - what is knowledge (for others)?

I love proverbs; I always collect them in a little book They give you a short view in the head of another, a small impulse to re-think your thinking. I just want to provide you three to think about:

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Couchsurfing is for me a way to make a journey complete cause it leads you to the heart of travelling: to the people and their real lifes behind the touristic view.
CS is a part of a travel philosphy; life its about learning by sharing.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I just LOVE Books and therefore its hard to make a choice but the one which probably accompaigned me the most time and in different languages is 'Harry Potter';
But then I discovered 'Faust', 'Siddhartha', 'Narziss und Goldmund', 'Biedermann und die Brandstifter', 'Homo Faber', 'medicus', 'Gehirne', 'Confessiones' ... (and a lot more...)
