Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During 2009, I hosted about a hundred people in Istanbul with my flatmate at the time, Akın Demir (link to his profile: https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/hamolka/ ). Also surfed the couch of some of those who stayed with us (in Poland and Slovakia) that summer. After about five years (and buying my own place), I've decided to start hosting again!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Diverse. A lot of rock (mostly progressive) and jazz, some classical and flamenco, a little electronic and Turkish. Tool, Björk and Bach deserve special mention.

Films: Favorite directors: Kurosawa, Imamura, Miyazaki, Paul Thomas Anderson, the Coen brothers, Eastwood, Kubrick. Children of Men, The Ballad of Narayama, Princess Mononoke, A Separation, 2001: A Space Odyssey are some of my favorite films.
