Sobre mí

~~~~CAN'T HOST ATM~~~~
CURRENT MISSION
My little dream is to hitchhike to Southeast Asia. I like this kind of travelling in general, have done it several times and such journey would be the cherry on top. In everyday life I try to use every chance to travel. I'm a happy person and that makes me happier. I love my life, my friends, my city, I smile all the time, joke a lot, enjoy working, like learning. Currently I also prepare myself to get to doctoral studies in history. That's my passion.
ABOUT ME
I'm a very open-minded person. Apart from travelling, I'm fascinated by history, and hiking. I like to talk about history, so expect from me interesting facts about Cracow or Polish/global history:).
I'm also a member of reenactment group. We recreate soldiers from the WWI and the WWII.
For a year I've been working in hostel as a receptionist, now I'm a teacher, and it is really funny job, trust me, I can share crazy stories :D.
I love all kind of jokes! Disgusting, groaners, black humour and more! Love to laugh! :D
You can talk with me about everything - there's no taboo for me. I never get the hump, it's hard to me make angry. I like to party a lot, sometimes I drink too much :D I really enjoy spending weekend's evening in bars, clubs or house parties. But sometimes I prefer to sit in my kitchen, have a beer and relax:)
WHAT TO EXPECT
Please bear in mind four important things:
1. Write in the request that you don't mind sleeping on the floor!
2. I don't have any hidden password written in my profile and I don't force you to send it in request, but while sending it try to show me that you've read my profile. And write a bit about yourself and person you want to come with. Then chances of accepting you get better immadietely.*
3. Everytime I leave my flat I ask my guests to leave as well.
4. During weekdays I won't have whole day for my guests. Sometimes even when I come back from my job I still have to work. However, feel free to stay at my place/go outside when I can't take care of you. In 99/100 cases I will spend evening with you with a great pleasure.
Apart from it, I'm definitely not shy person. I'm bold, sometimes more sometimes less. Anyway, while hosting I take an initiative. I want you to feel as much comfortable in my place as it's possible. I will try to speak only English language with Poles around me, since no one wants to be outsider because of language barrier. Maybe I'm not the most neat person in the world, but I always try to prepare tidy and clean room for you and you won't meet terrible mess at my place.
WHAT I DO EXPECT:
I don't have big expectations :D. Nevertheless I really like talkative people. Please, if you come to my place - talk with me. Don't be shy and quiet. I don't know if it's good when I talk a lot or you want me to shut up. I don't feel comfortable when you're not interested in me (that's the point of CS isn't it?) and you speak with someone in language that I cannot understand.
Then, I totally don't care about mess in your place. I used to live in student dormitory for few years and I can survive any conditions :D so if you don't like to clean - don't do that, I don't mind:)
I try to be honest person. Many of my trips are low budget. Usually I don't want to spend all reserved for the whole trip money in bar or clubs for drinks in one night. If you decide to invite me, please notice that. Nevertheless I'm not that stingy as you can think :D
And of course, I respect the same thing with you. I won't be convincing you to try expensive traditional Polish meals on Christmas markets, I won't tell you that you HAVE TO buy something etc. But if you want to spend a lot of money in my country - perfect, help our economy :D
I think that the most important thing is talk. When we know our intentions each other everything will be easier. Welcome to cooperation :)
*If you're backpacker and you're on the way all the time it's obvious you don't have time to read everything. Then just mark it.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
Much, much, much easier way to know the city or place you visit! Of course you can try to explore the place by yourself. You can stay in a hostel and so on. But wouldn't it be easier to try it with locals? I guess so. They can show you unknown for tourists places, cheap shops, cool bystreets and so on ;). Apart from it CS idea is wonderful because of helping people. I had situations when my host didn't have time to show me the city and to care about me, but anyway he or she gave me the place to sleep, or checked something on internet etc. I can do the same for you, it's cool :)
Intereses
History, military, traveling, hitchhiking, walking in the mountains, running, swimming, skiing, skating, partying :)
Música, películas y libros
I like horror movies and comedies. I can party with all types of music :) I like reading historical books and Shakespeare!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Accommodation of course :) but apart from it I would like to show you how great and beatiful is my city - Cracow. I can be your guide, we can walk around the city whole day, eat traditional Polish food and I can tell you some interesting facts about history of Cracow and Poland :). After that I will show you what does it mean to have a party in Cracow ;]
