About Me
First things first: I LOVE language and everything to do with it!
I'm an international relations graduate but mostly work as a journalist and a translator. I write articles (reports, reviews) for a few papers, always on the look for stories worth telling. I also took a stab at documentary filming - hopefully not for the last time!
I'm one of those who can be a little shy at first and then turn out to be quite outgoing :) I love people who are creative, open-minded and can hold a good conversation. I'm generally interested, non-judgmental and get on with most people.
I lived in London for 5 years, but will probably never get rid of that Hungarian accent (eksent, rather). My next project is moving to Rome and enjoying a bit of dolce vita - not too long to go now!
I enjoy cocktails, art bars, clubs, a good workout/swim/hike, a drive to the countryside or pretty much anything else. I'd love to try paragliding and diving next, and I'm always up for a good night out, too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because meeting interesting people is the best part of travelling :) everyone has a story, and I'd love to hear yours.

Any music from inde rock to psytrance to lift my mood :) I'll spare you the never-ending list of artists, books and movies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked to Machu Picchu two years ago. Ate alpacca meat. Got an awful sunburn in Malaysia last summer. Swam in the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore (so I now pull a smug face whenever I see it in a magazine). Discovered the most beautiful street on the planet (a cliché, I know, but it's in Beverly Hills). And supported a community project in Kenya to provide clear drinking water to a school.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Camera skills. Laughs, hopefully.
