ABOUT ME

Hi, i'm Kit, a Hong Kong Australian.

I usually like to travel without too much pesky planning. I enjoy travelling alone and also with friends.

As an actuary, I worked in a Finance company. I am an outgoing, open-minded guy. However, I don't like to work all-the-day in front of a computer to calculate. I rather describe myself as and outgoing and person. I hope someday I can find a job that I really want.

I have a lot of dreams. During traveling, I can look for the purpose of my life. I am an easy-going guy, but I hate making friends with materialistic people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to surf and sometimes I host.
I have hosted some friends from other countries including Taiwanese, Italian, Japan, Korean, Germany, French and Hong Konger. All the experiences were quite nice and enjoyable.
2-3 days is about the max time I'd like to host in most cases, but there can be exceptions. Just depends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced couchsurfing in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Vietnam, and Japan.

Interests

I love travel and all kind of sports like tennis, volleyball, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, cycling and swimming. My goal of this year is to take part in tennis and volleyball tournaments.

I love playing video games including PS4, Switch, PS2, computer games......I also enjoy playing board games with friends.

Movies! Love to use lines from movies to make sense of life. I have formed a movie group to go watching movies every Friday night. Theatre performances as well~

I like hiking, camping and every outdoor activity. The countryside of Hong Kong is the most beautiful. Everywhere is hill, river, sea, lake, tree, and island. In summer, I go canoeing in Sai Kung every weekend to hug the nature.

I like to play piano and guitar, but I am not good at it.......

In short, I am a guy having a lot of interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Self-study actuarial science and finally become an actuary
2. open a candy shop when I was 18
3. Skydived and scuba-dived in Queensland of Australia
4. Had a round-the-island trip using a bike in Taiwan
5. Quit my job and had a round-the-world trip in 2014 summer
6. Started an archery games business and a sharehouse business
7. Had working holiday in Australia and Japan
8. Quit my career and started a toy business

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Cantonese, Mandarin and English languages and also Tennis! I can also teach advance Mathematics (As I know, most people hate Maths......).
