Overview
About Me
Curious, ambitious young human who constantly feels that irresistible driving force to question everything.
Sometimes a little bit cynical and critical (of others and even more of myself). Anyway I think I'm just doing my best to live my life to the fullest and to encourage people around me to do so.
And about my take on living... Rather than listing -isms, here's a little story:
Not so long ago, there lived a young politician who was known for always running up the stairs in the Parliament taking at least three steps in one leap. The older politicians made jokes of him and laughed at how foolishly agile he was while "there's nothing to run for if you're already on the top of everything". The young politician's response was simple:
"There's so much wrong in our world and so many good causes to fight for that if I had the power to climb five steps in one leap, I would feel bad not to. I can only take three steps at once and I know it's not even close to enough. But I believe that there will come new generations, with more and more people who feel the same. And I hope it wouldn't be too late."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although I'm still in the beginning, two thumbs up for now. It's like hitchhiking (and that I've done a thousand times).
Interests
Life in it's every shape and brains in particular. Standing on the shoulders of giants and looking for the answers of great questions and for the opportunity to say something truly new, while trying to make our world a better place step-by-step and after all enjoy all that life brings.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love the sounds of UNKLE, Bonobo, Quantic, Flying Lotus, Zero 7, Chinese Man, Amon Tobin, The Cinematic Orchestra and Thom Yorke, as well as Erik Satie and all the classical surrealists.
Of movies I like the works of Tarkovsky, Lars von Trier, Terrence Malick, Steve McQueen, David Lynch, Kim Ki-duk and all the hand-drawn masterpieces of Hayao Miyazaki and Marcell Jankovics.
As a teenager I've been raised on Jules Verne and of course the story of Harry Potter. Other all-time favourites are Umberto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum, Alessandro Baricco's Novecento and the Silk, surrealist writers like Marquez and Haruki, also the pieces of Hungarian poetry and The Tragedy of Man from Madach.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A three-week long round trip through North Italy all by Cs.
Teach, Learn, Share
Could speak about amazing topics from nature sciences on a standard level for hours. Just tell me when it's too much.
Also I can tell you a lot about the multinational and multicultural society I come from.
Would learn anything. I simply enjoy being among people who know more than me.
