Overview
About Me
Im a 27 year old colombian woman who quit her job in Santiago de Chile in order to achieve her dream of getting to travel for a while without a date for going back.
I was tired of the routine, feeling that it was a big world outside full of great potential experiences and amazing people to get to know and enrich myself, so Im on it now.
Im Colombian and I love showing people around the world all the things that identifies my country and culture (and believe me, goes much more further than what you see in "Narcos"), colombians are incredible nice people, so welcoming and by nature enjoying life in an easy way. We have incredible diversity of people, cultures, food, music, geography and of course, natural resources. Im not living in Colombia now but when I get back would love to open my doors to other coach surfers in order to show them our welcoming culture.
Im an easy going person, passionate for traveling, open minded, respectful and easy to laugh, one of the things I love the most. I enjoy of good conversations, specially if it includes a wine/beer and maybe good food around it. I love getting to know people from other cultures, understand their life and confirming that this world has really nice people all around.
Besides I also like sports, Im not a professional on anything but enjoy to keep myself active, I love skying, running, going for a ride on the city, and also skating.
Im a clean person, organized (specially when some one is hosting me), I don't smoke, Im aware of details, of course if Im staying at some body's place would be happy to help with cooking (I also enjoy cooking, not a profesional but I can do it well, specially if it is healthy food), cleaning, organizing and of course, sharing a good time if you have the time for it, if not I have not trouble on going on my own to get to know more about your city.
I have not use coach surfing before, but now that Im in the middle of this experience, would love to try it, it attracts me cause it can get me closer to locals life and routine, which of course help me understand much more about their culture and life style.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found it pretty enriching this way of getting to know in a close way people from other countries and cultures...I have learned that in every country/city/place you can find really openminded people as well as really close minded ones, some nice and others that are not all, but the thing is that it goes further more than just a culture, the thing is getting with the correct people in each place, so I do believe that if you are in this platform, opening your house doors to travelers is because first, you are so generous, which talks pretty good about you, and second, we have an interest in common that is learning about worldwide cultures, even when you are traveling or at home, so you're definitely a person that I would like to get to know and from who I can learn a lot!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Not so picky with music, movies or books, Im always open to try new things and styles but I can say:
From recent movies I've watched, I loved Guardians of the galaxy (1 and 2), Lala Land, the beauty and the beast, and didn't enjoy that much lego land and fifty shades of grey.
About music, love latin music for dancing, specially salsa, and for listening I enjoy a lot of old school Shakira (pies deslcalsos, if you don't know it I totally recommend it, specially if you understand spanish!), Jack Johnson, The Beatles, also like a little more alternative as breakbot and classic as Amelie sountracks...and well, those are pretty diverse artists...I just don't like heavy metal or in general so heavy music.
About books, I like everything that can teach me new things in which Im interested, I also enjoy of podcasts and audiobooks...the most recent I've been following is Diana Uribe, a colombian historian who was teach me a lot more than what I learned during highschool!!
