About Me

PHILOSOPHY

"Life is a book and those who do not travel read only a page".

"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."-George Bernard Shaw

Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt and dance like no one is watching."- Randall G Leighton

...cheesy I know, but hey I love cheese:p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like most people on here I want to meet new and interesting people, learn things, hear their crazy stories, travel advice, hang out, make connections!

I love that now most of the time I’m deciding where my next holiday will be it’s not hmmm will I go to Germany or France? It’s will I visit my friend in Stockholm, Milan, Buenos aires, Morocco:) Meeting new people makes life rich and interesting!

Interests

I’m a chef so naturally I love cooking for people! I particularly enjoy baking:) I’m into reading, drawing, singing. I quite accidentally became a competitive powerlifter and when I get the chance I’m also involved in bodypainting. On my split shifts in work I cycle through the national park here and read my book in a secret garden overlooking lakes and mountains to unwind from my stressful job.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m not too fussy about films. I love everything from the usual suspects to bad chick flicks and the lord of the rings. Open to any kind of music, I listen to classical, jazz and contemporary music mostly.
My favourite book is 'Narcissus and Goldmund' by Herman Hesse, followed closely by 'How to Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying a plane over my hometown or rowing down a river blindfolded!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach ypu Irish, a bit of some Irish dances, cooking and baking...
I give good massages! Love learning new things or skills, hence why I seem to drop and pick up new and completely different hobbies. Always happy to improve on my languages or learn new ones! Learn about food and culture in other places:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

An insight into Irish culture and language. Some crazy stories. Travel tips in places I’ve been. Cook for you!(my favourite thing to share) and my company :p
