I'm Peter.

I hosted a lot of different people with my girlfriend over the years. I joined CS as it is a cheap way getting to know cultures and other people. Sometimes, I realize that travelling for me is not really about places rather about people that I meet along the way.

I love cooking. I'm not the best chef, but I make fu&ˇ"@#g great burgers.

I love biking. I grew up in a small village, where I started my cycling career when I was three. As I became a teenager biking became a hobby for the weekends. It all came back to my life as I rediscovered it during the university years. I lived in Belgium and Berlin with scholarships. These impacts made me fell in love with cycling. I lived in the Netherlands for a year which brought this to an absolutely new level, so lately I miss the great Dutch infrastructure.

I live together with my girlfriend. We've been together for almost 5 years. When I'm hosting it is most likely that you would meet her as well. She is a great girl, who makes me smile every day :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from Berlin to Belgium - met so many cool people on the way.
Relearnt how to ride my bike no handed in the Netherlands!
Won a national yo-yo championship when I was 15.
Cycled from the Netherlands back to Hungary (also took a train along the Alps).

Teach, Learn, Share

Once in Belgium an Italian guy offered me a cigarette and told me after I thanked him: "Sharing is caring". I think sharing is a basic function of our life and that is how we can take some small portion of happiness to others' lives. I also try to live up to this idea.
