About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm not completely sure what my current goal is, but I think it starts with a little wander through Japan. I'm hoping to pick up much more Japanese and learn a heap more about the food and culture while I'm at it.
ABOUT ME
If i had to describe myself, I'd say I'm an excitable yet laid back kinda guy.
Moving around the place makes me feel alive, so I do it pretty often.
Surfing is a passion of mine, though I'm not particularly skilled at it.
I can't go past a good cook up, and enjoy learning new recipes when possible.
I love a good chat and to hear about the world through the eyes of other people.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is pretty short and each day it only grows shorter, or something like that...?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was hoping to offer a bit of cultural exchange, I'm sure i can help with practicing English and I'd really like to help cook amongst other things.

I'm still yet to Couchsurf, but I'm looking forward to my first experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to dabble in most genres of music, like Indie pop, house, etc.. Right now I'm starting to get into some of the more classical music and am also a big fan of the Studio Ghibli soundtracks.
I haven't been watching many movies lately, but i grew up on mostly European subtitle films and all the Animation films I could find (I'm still a die hard fan of Spirited Away).
These days I mostly read books on Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever done, was to be born.
Against all odds, I some how came into existence and managed to become exactly who I am right now. I can't help but find that pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm definitely keen to have a bit of language exchange, or I can even just help to improve your conversational English if you're interested.
I can't really do any crazy tricks, but I can definitely help with the basics if you're interested in surfing and we're near some water and waves.
I'm also not an amazing chef or anything, but I know a few recipes I'd be more than happy to share.
I'm happy to share any of my experiences too, and whatever knowledge I've come across if you'd like to hear it.
I'm not lying when I say I'd like to learn anything on offer, I'm really keen to learn Japanese, any etiquette or manners, and any recipes you're willing to share.
I'm also keen on things like martial arts, piano (or any instrument really), anything business related or any skill you know really if you're happy to teach a newbie like myself.
I'd really like to hear about your country and where you've travelled, and in exchange I'm more than happy to share my experiences and knowledge of the places I've been and where I come from.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to share anything I can, I'm not sure what I'm fully capable of but I'd be happy to help out however or provide whatever I can (within reason, I can't offer you a lung of course, but I could probably get by with only one kidney.)
