Overview
About Me
I like travelling and I received so much help from people where I came. I felt thankful with those people who meet me at first time and helped me with warm attitude. So I just want to give others as what I received.
I married in 2013, my husband and I are high school friends, so we are the same age of 27. I work in a bank and my husband is a start-up in information technology (IT). We work from Monday to Friday.
We are have good images about Japan, country and people, and really want to exchange good images about Vietnamese to them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I have a free bedroom for (a) Japanese guest(s), who can speak English or Vietnamese quite well.
Frankly, my husband and I are looking for a Japanese guest who can help us improve Japanese by speaking with us in Japanese and English/Vietnamese about 1 hour/day. We are both at level zero in Japanese :D
Interests
I like travelling to meet people and see new cultures and travelled a lot when I was single. Since I married, some of travel plans had to rank behind family-visiting plans, :). Accepting guests may help me to partly satisfy that interest.
I like going around Hanoi with friends for coffee, to temples finding peace in mind, to entertainment zones such as Botanical Garden, Hanoi old quarter. I also like inviting friends to come for lunch/dinner at weekends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I received my passport in a beautiful day at the end December 2012, then decided to go abroad immediately. I searched on ttvnol.com for an opening team (a travel team that was looking for members to share cost). I found one team who was planning to go Luang Prabang, Laos. I called the leader to sign up right 24 hours before we started. And I only met him and 5 others at Nuoc Ngam station where we catched the bus to Luang. Some uncertainties happened, but I believed in my sense, we should be alright. On the way, another member joined with us. We had a wonderful happy new year party with Laos friends at Luang in the first day of 2013.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a native Vietnamese but I haven't teach Vietnamese for anyone. I have learned English since 6th grade, and I can speak English quite well. I want to share a spare room for (a) Japanese guest(s) who really need it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- You can have a free bedroom (15m2) on the 3rd floor with a single bed, a table, a closet, wifi and WC.
- You can join us from 6pm to 7am of the next day in weekdays and all weekends. In weekdays, we can do some activities as my normal day. We can go to a small market at about 20 meters from my house, buy food, cook dinner and enjoy funny time around a table full of delicious dishes as all Vietnamese do. In weekends, you can go as your own journey or come with us for Hanoi traditional coffee, go around Hoan Kiem lake, or stay at home and make special luches.
