I’m living in Rockville MD, with my husband Steve also a CS member, We really enjoy the Couchsurfing community and I started to organize the CS meetings on Fridays to have the opportunity to meet great people.

I’m looking to know new people, I wish to know local people that wants to hangout and can explore and show us nice spots in the area :)

About us, he has greek roots so make us an special couple that can share nice meals greek and Colombia style :D

We are an open mind and flexible couple, we are looking to stay/host with people that wants to share, talk, maybe some activities outdoor :)

Also if you are interested to learn some Spanish or Greek could be a nice experience :)

We were traveling together in Southamerica ( October 2018 to May 2019), and we met amazing people in CS that now are our good friends!

So I decide to put the public trip to can know and share with friendly local people, that wants to go out chill, walk, hike, swim or whatever is posible to do in the area!!

So, I will travel with Steve he is 34, Greek/American, amazing person and the best part is my husband and he knows how to cook Greek food 🥘 that’s super cool!!!

We want to walk, trekking, hiking, maybe camping, we are flexible and open minded people, I have some references of us traveling together in Patagonia and soon I will put the photos with my wonderful friends of CHILE and ArgentinA!!!

Soy super fanática de couchsurfing los mejores lugares y las mejores comidas las hemos explorado junto con mis anfitriones y mis surfers, ya he visitado centro, sur y norte América, Europa y Asia, y en todos los viajes he encontrado gente maravillosa, mis amigos también me han visitado en Colombia y esa experiencia es genial!!!

Mi perfil ha estado desactualizado por mucho ya que solía viajar con mi expareja, y todas las fotos las voy a dejar son todos buenísimos recuerdos, sin embargo me he dado cuenta es un excelente filtro para los que no leen los perfiles ya que leen solo las referencias y colocan los dos nombres y eso sí estoy de buenas porque las últimas solicitudes solo me llegan de la siguiente manera "mañana llego a Ibagué me quedo dos noches" en serio esta es la mayor razón por la que no he hospedado, los nuevos miembros a veces no se comunican bien.

En cuento a mí, si es cierto cocino rico, soy habladora tengo muchas anécdotas por contar, consejos por dar y recibir, me gusta la naturaleza, salir a bailar :)

Soy super respetuosa, sigo las reglas de casa, soy muy ordenada y me gustan los perros y gatos en las fotos están algunas de las mascotas de mis amigos dónde me han hospedado. Cómo viajo mucho decidí no tener mascota luego de que Pecas, mi dálmata muriera hace dos años.

Por favor mira mis fotos cuando digo que mis anfitriones son mis amigos es en serio mi casa es tu casa, me encanta que me visiten por ejemplo mi último anfitrión en Holanda en junio 2018 estuvo con su hermano en diciembre 2018 en Colombia, mis amigos de couchsurfing son mis amigos para toda la vida!!!!!

Hi I´m Ana María, Im from Colombia; I want to know all around the world, my first long travel was 2014-2015, by all Central América, the second was Galapagos Islands!! in Ecuator, December 2015 -. January 2016. Eurotrip July- October 2016. And New York - Miami, October - November 2016!!! South East Asia March - November 2017! We live with my husband Steve, in a nice area close to the red line metros, we also have bicycles that we can share with our surfer, our apartment is well located everything is close 1/2 blocks walking.

We have a sofa bed available, the place is super CLEAN we don’t use shoes inside the apartment!

You are welcome to use the kitchen buying your stuff and cleaning it after use it.

You won’t have keys of our place but we can be agree about the hours! Here is a front desk and a very nice social area in the building swimming pool, pool table 🎱, bbq, gym, coffee area and free WiFi. So if you need to wait for any reason for sure you will very comfortable.

Well Im not going to reply to all the bad request that only wants free host, I think that that kind of people can find easyly a cheap Hostel :). But if you read again and jus try to do a good request Im going to try to host u. Just said what do u really want to share. Please read my references if you want to try the Aguardiente you need to buy it bcs I’m not in Colombia any more 🤣

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I can share my experience to travel with other people and listen new stories to feel alive :)

As I wrote we have made some trips and thought the couchsurfing is the best way to travel in the amount of friends you can find in the world, on the journey through Central America we only did CS once and these friends have visited in Colombia :)

On the trip to the Galapagos Islands I did CS and was the best share rides, New Year party, I met many friends and they came to visit me in Colombia, at least eight friends, for me was super fun because I felt the energy of our trip to the Galapagos.
So I decided that my way of traveling CS be the best option.

Como ya lo escribí hemos realizado algunos viajes y pensamos que el couchsurfing es la mejor manera de viajar por la cantidad de amigos que puedes encontrar en el mundo, en el viaje por Centro américa solo hicimos CS una vez y estos amigos ya nos visitaron en Colombia, en este viaje a pesar de que conocimos ocho países hicimos pocos amigos, los viajeros siempre están cambiando de hostel, y algunos son muy reservados a la hora de hacer amigos sino coinciden en su ruta.

En el viaje a las Islas Galápagos sólo hicimos CS y fue lo mejor compartimos paseos, comidas, navidad, año nuevo, por lo que nos dimos cuenta que el CS es nuestra manera preferida de viajar, aunque en Galápagos nos hospedaron solo tres personas, conocimos muchísimos amigos y ya vinieron a visitarnos ocho amigos que para nosotros fué súper divertido porque sentíamos la energía de nuestro viaje a Galápagos.
Por eso decidimos que nuestra manera de viajar CS será la mejor opción.

Walk in the nigth, by the lonely streets to ometepe island, and saw the lights of the fireflies :) 2014

Well there are many things I've seen, but swimming with sea lions, turtles, octopus, penguins, sharks, iguanas, UNPAID TOUR, is something very special, that I did in the three islands we visited in Galapagos and the experience with the animals is swimming with it without hurting you, you're doing just watching... you watching them eat or fishing or eating algae, finally it's very nice for me.

and now be in Nyc trying to host people!!! But we dont have any good request for that reasons let me know what amazing thing we can do together believe me for me simple things are amazing too :) just is a filtrer :)

Asia wow this travel is amazing!!! Many new friends, great experience, we also are trying to share with host from CS its not easy but we already did it with Jayson in the Philipines, Kanh in Vietnam and our lovely host in Singapore Finn and Amandine, that we hope to meet them again on October :)

Mi segundo viaje a Europa esta vez sola, visitando a mis amigos, y haciendo nuevos amigos, fue de lo mejor estuve viviendo en Middelburg un pequeño pueblito Holandés en donde me amañé al encontrar la mejor compañía con mis amigos :)

Bueno hay muchas cosas que he visto, pero nadar con lobos marinos, tortugas, pulpos, pinguinos, tiburones, iguanas, SIN PAGAR TOUR, es algo muy especial, esto lo hice en las tres islas que visité en Galapagos y la experiencia de que un animal está contigo nadando sin hacerte daño, sólo viendo que estás haciendo ó tú viéndolos alimentarse pescando ó comiendo algas, en fín es algo muy lindo para mí.
