About Me

Dear all travelers,

NOTE: Couchsurfing is neither a free hotel nor a dating club.

Please read "My Home" first before sending a couch request.
If I don't find you did, I would decline or ignore your message.
I can host only people who read my profile carefully and agree with my policy.
I'm getting tired of responding to regardless messages.
And include some information of mine in your couch request.
You might feel I'm fussy, but I just want to avoid trouble due to misunderstanding.

CURRENT MISSION

meet people, visit a lot of places, improve my English skill

ABOUT ME

previous profile:
https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1005426647/profile/legacy

Hi, my name is Yoshino.
I moved to Tokyo from Fukuoka in 2015, and moved again to Hokkaido in 2016.
I'm originally south part of Japan and very new to Sapporo!

I enjoy talking with people with different backgrounds.
Also, I'd like to improve my skill of English conversation.
I'm a little shy but I'd like to meet a lot of people and share the experiences.

Due to my job, I and my husband live separately. Then I often go to Tokyo to see him.
I'm not active as a host, but don't hesitate to contact me.

PHILOSOPHY

Kites rise highest against the wind – not with it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS when I lived in Fukuoka.
Mainly hosting people and showing them around my city.
Sometimes I join local events.
I have surfed when I travel Southeast Asia and Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some foreign travelers on CS in Fukuoka, for the first time.
I didn't host any of them but hanged out together. It was a so impressing experience.
Through the couch surfer, I could meet other more travelers and recognize the attraction of my town :)
So now, I'm addicted to CS!

After graduating, I took a glider's license(JCAB).
Someday I'd like to fly an aircraft too.

Also, I'm interested in plants, music, art, English conversation, travel...
I want to go on a trip abroad!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013 summer, I tried train trip from Bangkok to Singapore (about 2,000km) by myself.
I took 3 sleeping trains and stayed in them for 3 nights in a row.
Before the departure, my Singaporean friend said I was crazy.
Actualy I was, but I really enjoyed meeting people during the trip!
I won't try the same way again though, haha.
