Update March 2019: I am travelling with my boyfriend at the moment so I am not in Belgium!

I'm an adventurous, curious, active and positive 26-year old who wants to see as much as possible of this beautiful world and wants to learn new things everyday. I love to make friends all over the world: meeting new people and talking with people from different cultures puts everything in perspective. I think a lot, which is sometimes a tiring thing, but it also makes me a person who questions life and doesn't take anything for granted. I will always make sure I follow my heart and I will do anything to discover what it says, which sometimes takes me a while... travelling helps me with that, getting to know myself (and the world).

Current Mission

Travelling the world without leaving too much of an ecological footprint.. I am very concerned about our planet and that is why I am try to minimize my flights. In 2016-2017 I travelled from Antwerp to Bali over land, no flights. IN March 2019 I hitchhiked from Belgium to Turkey. I am all for slow travel and volunteer along the way 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am certainly the second. I finished my masters in June 2016, travelled for 9 months without taking any flights from Antwerp to Bali, came back to Belgium, met my current boyfriend and in March 2019 left again to travel the world together. I think couchsurfing is for travelers and will help me seeing the world and meeting people from everywhere. I think it is an amazing platform. I couchsurfed a couple of times and I always had such great experiences!

Apart from the chocolate, I live kinda healthy. Some people call me a 'health-freak', I just think it is more than normal to take good care of the only body you've got. I hardly ever eat fastfood, I love fruits and veggies and I try to work out a lot. Having an active lifestyle is super important to me, but I am not the typical superficial fitness-girl you might think, I just like to move, it makes me feel good. I also try to eat vegan as often as possible, mostly to minimize my impact on the planet.

Music makes the world a better place. Listening to music, dancing to music (I really love partying....) or making music, I love it all.
