ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Ida and I’m 18 years old. I live in Finland and have lived here my whole life, which is something I plan on changing for incoming fall. I see myself as a friendly, open and flexible person.

I will very soon travel to the Netherlands with a good friend, during two weeks we will be cycling around the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the first half of May my friend Adriana and I will be travelling around the Netherlands. We would be very happy to meet locals, letting them show us their city/town/village, or just sitting down for a coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As it is now, I've never couchsurfed. I hope for a great experience!

Interests

I enjoy music, both listening and playing (I sing and sort of play the guitar.) I also love reading when I have the time. I love learning new things, whether it's about people, facts or completely unnecessary trivia.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: It's very hard for me to pick out a favourite movie. I enjoy movies in general and I don'r prefer any specific genre either. Just give me a movie and I will watch it a probably like it. I like TV-series though: That 70's Show, How I Met your Mother, Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, Awkward, Game of Thrones (!!), Sherlock (!!), Skins (!!), Breaking Bad, American Horror Story (!!). So yeah.

Music: Guns N' Roses was the band I fan-girled over when I was 14-15 and will stay with me forever. The other top favourites are Foo Fighters and Avenged Sevenfold. But I listen to any pop and rock.

Books: I haven't read that many books, but my favourites (and everyone elses) are: The Harry Potter books, The Hunger Games-series, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Fault in our Stars, Looking for Alaska. I will read the Song of Ice and Fire.
