ABOUT ME
I am an easy going person who loves to laugh around good food and wine with good people. I work with young adults in a leadership development and Discipleship program and I love it very much. I also lead some out trips for the Camp and that has heightened my love of the outdoors and exploring. I was married in October of 2017 and my husband and I had the pleasure of building a tiny house together that we now live in at the camp.
Travelling is a very important value to us and Coushsurfing is something that we appreciate so much for not only the accessibility of it but also the relationships built. I am just building up my profile again so bear with me! I hope we could host someone someday, but we live in the middle of nowhere and we have very little space!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that I have a God that loves me and that I should love others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch-surfed in Frankfurt and Prague now and really enjoyed in both cities. It adds such a great perspective to a trip. I have stayed in Hostels in other parts of the world and you just miss out on so much. Surfing adds such a personal side to any I have visited. Bbq's on the Main River in Frankfurt, and "funny facts" from a host in Prague are just two of the highlights that I would have missed out on in a hostel.
Interests
Simon and I like seeing new things together and building things together. We both love the thrill of a puzzle or trying to solve a problem!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every year I lead my students across the frozen Lake Winnipeg on a three day trek. We pull all our gear and sleep in tents as we cross. It is a wild tundra feel out there on the world's 11th largest fresh water lake! it is really hard work but it is so worth it when you get the other side!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will start by saying that this community is beautiful. Globally, people opening their lives to help make the lives of others easier is what this is essentially about, no?
That's what I want to encourage others to do and what I want to keep learning about for myself.
