ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I'm Shakti and I joined CS to meet new people, and to have chances to travel to lots of places which are surely worth to visit. I'm easygoing and I love making new friends as we share different cultures and tastes. I have alredy met people from different places in the world, and that's something I would like to keep doing, since it's very rewarding.
Also, I'm open to travelling with a group of people, and get into some adventures, of course!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, and I have always had great experiences when I was hosting in AirBnb. Even if that was more like a service, I always ended up getting on very well with my guests, with whom I still talk and mantain a long distance friendship. I believe one's attitude is not everything but a very important part, so I try to be nice and friendly, because it is not really a big effort! So that is why I find myself comfortable in CS, because I love meeting people.

Intereses

I love learning new languages, as I said before, meeting new people and living adventures, of course travelling and sharing my culture.
I also love art, and anything that has to do with it. I studied arts and it would surely be awesome to meet other artists from all the places and go to visit artistic areas or museums.

I'm quite into the music from several years ago (The Rolling Stones, Creedence, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel...) as well as more actual music such as Muse, Gorillaz, The WHite Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers...

Algo increíble que he hecho

I decided to live a month lasting adventure in Japan. I have wanted to go since I was a little girl, and so I went and I met lots of super nice people via CS and I really want to go back. Japan is crazy wonderful.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I have studied Art in University, but never leaving behind my second passion: foreign languages. I specially love the English language, and I feel lucky to be an English teacher now.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can talk about almost anything, I think that way a good conversation may come, and that way we can get to know each other better. I am quite an open person, and I easily get confidence with people I enjoy talking with. I love sharing my experiences in my past trips, my job, and giving or asking for advice.
As I looooooooove art, when I travel, I draw (when I can), and I love showing my drawings to people! I am not so talented, but I enjoy doing it anyway!
