ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Walter, for years I've been living pretty much the same life of working, working out and partying but I've come to the age that I realize that there's so much more to life. I want to start experiencing more diverse activities such as walking, sightseeing, culture,... although I'm still up for a good night out with people who just want to have a good time :D

Update: I'm cat-sitting for a few months so there will be 1 big cat in the apartment too...

Update 2: I currently have a roommate which limits my hosting capacities, so I only have the couch available and in need I can set up an air mattress and sleeping bags for 2 more people. I'd have to discuss your request with my roommate too off course but he's also on CS so he's probably okay with it.

I've been hosting since 2014 and surfed a few couches myself. I love the energy and vibe you get from meeting new people from all over the globe...

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie that leaves me wondering or moved (such as inception, interstellar, 7 pounds, cidade de deus, memento, crash,...) and off course some classics like the godfather, scarface, shawshank redemption, 7even, heat, gladiator... . I can appreciate a wide range of music from electronic over rock via indie to hiphop. What I play most myself is trance music like Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, RAM,... but basically if it's good, it's good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a fellow traveller from Vienna to Prague and spending 2 days with her after meeting at a CS event and talking with her for only 1 hour or so 😂

Travel 8 days through Iceland by campervan with a girl I've seen only once after i launched a travel request on Facebook in Nomads group

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like to learn a few words of Dutch or even Antwaaaarps (the most important dutch dialect) I'm certainly willing to give it a go. And since my friends say that I'm a pretty decent cook most of the times I can also teach you how to make some typically Belgian stews or tasty desserts ;-)
