Hey! This is Paula!I'm a 22 and I've been a travel lover since I was born. About my education, I'm a girl scout and I'm studying medicine in the beautiful city of Girona (Catalonia). I will describe myself as an easy going woman, optimistic, curious, happy, versatile, critic, independent, social, flexible, energic and calm when needed... but there is still a lot to improve and learn!

I feel the need for understanding the world, so I travel as much as I can to learn from people, nature and everything our cute planet can offer us. Next year, after completing university studies, I will give myself a gap year to travel the world. I'm excited!

I enjoy learning things about my obsessions (social medicine, feminism, ecologism, racism, human rights...) and fight them. I also love trekking, languages, culture, gastronomy... If I could, I would play every single instrument of that world but... I'm a real mess.

Nowadays, my big obsession is Morocco. Since a trip there three years ago, I'm in love with that country and its people. So now I spend my time learning their language (or trying to), travelling there, studying its history, fighting racism and learning from them.

I think that the best way to grow as a person is to discover the world. So travel is a must! Keeping in contact with local people is perfect for understanding each culture. Another important value of Couchsurfing is that enables everybody to have this experience and don't makes budget an impediment. As a solo traveller, it's also a perfect way to make new friends.

I've been travelling with Wwoofing in Ireland and with Couchsurfing when I did an Interrail trip in Europe. Definitely, memorable!

I've would love to share conversations about anything we can think of... The world is big and amazing! (About everything except TV series please, I'm sorry but I don't' watch them hahaha). Of course, if you want to, I'm willing to show everything about Catalans and our culture. We can enjoy time together doing whatever! Spend time in a bar, in Nature, in the kitchen, in the city, with people, reading... I will enjoy everything, for sure! But I can also be very independent and be in my own, so don't worry, I don't want to be a burden for you!:)
