ABOUT ME

Hi everyone,

All about me? well, Let´s start from the beginning... I was born in a cold day in 1984... :P

My name is Raúl A.K.A. Muruim.
My nickname comes from one of my hobbies, Capoeira, an afro-brazilian martial art. It means `mosquito´ as I was skinny but bit when it was given to me :) I haven´t practiced in a while but I still enjoy it now and then.
Other hobbies I have are juggling, skiing, traveling, meet new people, festivals, clubbing and music in general among others.

I´m from Granada, south Spain, but I live in Manchester, UK for 4 years, where I work for an ethical bank, believe it or not :)

It´s a bit weird to describe myself as everyone has a different point of view and it depends on the consciousness of each person but it is a fact I was born the 10th of February so I´m aquarius :)
I consider myself an openminded person, respectful and easy going if that counts...

I could describe myself for ages but I´m not sure if I would have enough characters to do so and I can´t be bothered anyway so... Please, feel free to ask me anything ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve heard from this movement for ages and I´ve always supported it as I think it is a great idea and a better experience.

Currently I have a big trip in mind on my own around Asia starting in August and I would like to use this movement to make my trip real or at least to help me with. I believe this trip will be one of my best decisions in my life and I want to find people in my journey to share my experiences with them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I´ve never used this tool before to find places to stay or people to meet as I had already friends or acquaintances in the countries I have visited but I have personal experiences sharing houses/B&B and of course meeting people everywhere. I have had hundreds of missions visiting other countries, festivals, campings, capoeira events...
I´ve never had my own place to offer but I would be willing to do it if this was the case.
