as someone who's traveling i found that so far (sorry this is going to sound corny) the people i met were often more important than the places i've visited so i like to get in touch with fellow travellers and locals. I'm just really into this idea of a global community sharing their homes and enabling each other to travel on a low budget while getting a nice insight into the place. when i have my own home again it will surely include a couch for broke backpackers like I am now.
