Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 year old girl from Santander, Spain. I graduated with a Biotechnology degree a little over a year ago, then spent a year working as an Outdoor Education Leader in an international school in India, and I'm currently exploring Canada on a working holiday visa!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always loved hosting people in my house, either friends or relatives or exchange students that came to my hometown. I love being able to host them and show them around. I also love meeting new people and travelling, and I think you don't get the real feel of a place if you don't know the people that live in it. So basically I think Couchsurfing is a great way to do both of those things: meet people that come visit my hometown and people that live in the places I visit! Unfortunately, I can't host people now because I'm not home, but I'm looking forward to do it next year!
Interests
I'm a very outdoorsy person and I love sports and being active and in contact with nature. I especially love surfing, snowboarding, hiking and playing soccer, but I'm really always up for everything. I also love going out and dancing, playing the guitar and the ukulele, FOOD, reading, learning languages and above all TRAVELLING. I love meeting new people and discovering new cultures and ways of life that can help me shape my own personality and view of the world. I'm also passionate about sustainability and environmental issues, and I hope to make a career of it one day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once ate a burrito that was 5% of my body weight! (... and then couldn't get any sleep that night)
Another kind of amazing... I volunteered in Fiji for 2 months without any electricity, running water or sign of what we call civilization, and I felt in such peace and harmony with nature that all I wish for is to be able to live like that eventually.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish! (It was never a valuable skill in Spain obviously so I'm excited about it). Other than that, I can play the ukulele, cook some awesome traditional Spanish food and share all kinds of stories about my travels!
I'm looking to learn yoga at some point, and to improve my cooking skills!
