One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Live.

While travelling, I have come across several near death experiences:
a kidney infection in Indonesia,
earthquake in Nepal,
hypothermia in The Himalayas,
a cow on my toe in India, and (but not limited to),
a wavering body battling festering wounds caused by mosquitoes (which gives me much reason to detest them),
sleeping on the streets with the homeless in California, hanging out with friendly strangers and strange friends...

Teach, Learn, Share

To live is to be in a state of dying. So live everyday knowing that you are dying. Live big, dream small. Keep expectations low. It's impossible to have none at all; we are only human. But it's alright. Be disappointed. And get over your disappointment. We forget, but better still, sometimes we learn; we are human after all. Love bravely, and live afraid. It's alright to be afraid; again, we are only human. But one day, before your last, face your fears, and grow. We can grow as long as we live; we are, again, human.

We are dying, yes, but we are learning and growing. Let's die at our wisest and biggest. And always, let's be human while we live.
