Hi! My name is Tjaša. :) I really like to travel like all the people on Couchsurfing, but I have not used this platform yet. Updating my profile is a start, right? :)
For me, it is always hard to describe myself but I would say that I am a laid-back, direct person who enjoys dancing, meeting new people and exploring new places. In my day to day life, I enjoy being a president of an organisation BEST Ljubljana, hang out with my friends and enjoy life in general. I have this profile for many years now but didn't explore the opportunities that it can give me. Until now.. as I am going on my biggest adventure to Spain in one week. I am super excited about it and hopefully meeting you would be included too! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people in Slovenia and abroad. I have many plans to travel around the globe and would love to experience places with local people. I believe that we meet people for a certain reason and Couchsurfing is the platform that can help to make this happen. Soon I am going to Spain, also a dream of mine would be to go to South America and Iceland.

Interests

Currently, as being a president of a student organisation I find BEST as a big part of my life and my main hobby. Thinking about new events that we could organize or optimise the current once, organizing meetings for my 30 new friends and making a change in educating students is a goal of mine. I like to organize different events, but in my 'me time' I like to go hiking, hang out with my friends and explore new things that are given to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is Reaggeton style. I was a fan of this type of music far before it became popular because I like the passion that this music has and how it can make me feel good in my own skin. I am not much of a reader, more of a listener of some educating spiritual youtube videos that remind me to not wait for good things to happen to you but make it happen yourself. I rarely watch movies but when I do I watch some drama and mystery films like; The girl on the train, Shutter Island etc. I still didn't get over the hype of Grey's Anatomy series which I like to watch when wanting to 'log off' a bit. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When applying to some jobs I often have to say my biggest achievements so this will help me out here now. xD
I would say my biggest achievement so far were:
- staying true to myself (always!)
- being a president of organisation BEST
- organizing one-week-long educational event for foregain students
- studying for 6 months in The Netherlands
- solo travelling to Portugal and Serbia (did't wait for others but travelled where I wanted too)

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that we learn all our lives, also from each other. We can share some of that knowledge when we meet in person. :)
I can share to you the view on us generating our lives and about gratitude that comes with it. I can tell you some interesting concepts of biotechnology and all the possibilities that it has for us in the future (from GSO, medicines, biofuels etc.). We can make memories together for sure!
