I'm Ángela, from Spain. I was born in Salamanca a small beautiful city where is one of the oldest european universities. My dream was always be archeologist, writer and traveler i couldn't study archeologi so I try to reach the second ones: be writer and travel around the world.
I was registred at Couchsurfing one year ago but I've never used it before because I was afraid about what could happen, finally I've decided to experience this new way of travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Is the first time I'm gonna use Couchsurfing but I think it's amazing and beautiful a comunity that allow travelling in a different way, based on confidence and respect.
Traveling is not just seeing monuments and take pictures, the most valuable thing is the essence of each new place, what you'll carry as a part of you forever.
The best way to experience a new place, a culture, is meeting people from every place along the trip.

I am very curious and passionate about everything, always willing to learn something new.
I like reading, writing ,nature, art, learning languages, cinema,poetry,philosophy, sports, anthropology, ancient civilizations, yoga, meditation but most of all traveling and see new places, meet people from everywhere, listening to their stories.

It would take a long time to write every song, book and movie I love, usually it depends on how I feel .
I listen to all music styles: reggae, rock, indie, blues,classic...
Some of my favourite movies are Mr.nobody, interestellar,baraka, la grande bellezza, fight club, donnie darko, the silence of the lawns, big fish, Woody allen's movies ...
Writers like Julio Cortázar, Italo calvino, Hermann Hesse, Milan kundera, Alejandra Pizarnik, Fernando Pessoa, Bukowski...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company and conversation and of course, teach Spanish and cook delicious potato omelette ;) and also you will have a place to stay if you want to visit me in Salamanca.
