About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Always thankful, never stop learning.

ABOUT ME

Hi everybody! My name is Paula and I was born in Chile. What can I say about myself? I am really thankful for life. Every good, bad, sad, crazy experience I've had has changed me in a certain way and has shaped who I am now. And I'm very happy.

I always dreamed of studying abroad and worked for it for several years, hoping, wishing, dreaming.... until it finally came true! I'm an exchange student in Dornbirn at the moment and enjoying every minute of it.

I'm very talkative if I feel comfortable. I'm honest, respectful, simple and friendly. I like reading, studying (fun stuff, of course), singing, cooking (I would be very happy to cook for you!), hanging out with friends, talking about life, hiking (I'm not the best at it, but I will not give up till I get there) and my most recent hobby is travelling around this beautiful continent called Europe! I love to hear stories from other people I meet in random situations (bank queues, buses, airport bathrooms haha). I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason and that everything you do has an impact on the people around you. So it's important to try to grow to your best self and enjoy every relationship you make, even if it's for a brief moment.

PHILOSOPHY

Always be thankful and grow spiritually.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will always be thankful to my hosts or the people who are willing to share any experience or cultural exchange. I seriously want to know your experiences and your thinking about life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was in Czech Republic with my best friend from high school and it was perfect. It made me fall in love with CS and the joy you feel when you meet new people who are nice enough to open the doors of their houses. After I moved to Austria, my friend Birkan from Turkey and I decided to travel around Italy doing CS and we had amazing (and also some crazy) experience, we loved our hosts and we had the time of our lives.
