ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 years old girl from Valladolid. I've lived here all my life except for several months I worked in Madrid four years ago, and some time I shared in Ireland with a lovely family from there. I finished my studies in audiovisual communication and now I'm to work on film projects and maybe publish some writings on cinema and mythology!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a lot the couchs of good friends living in Spain or far away, but I'm new in here, so I'm pretty excited to share good experiences with nice people all around the world and be able to enlarge my couchsurfing experience.

Interests

People and their interests and questions about everything are interesting to me. I really enjoy cinema and tv shows, and any other form of being able to approach to different ways of seeing life, to live it and experience feelings of this or any era. So I'm a lover of cinema, books, music and storytelling.
I also love to travel, even before leaving I always get a little nervous.
Sharing quality time with family and friends and enjoy cold beers with them is a great passion that I have.
And learning! I love learning about many different things, specially when I do it out of obligation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tarantino, Park Chang Wok, Wong Kar Wai, Bong Joon Ho, Johnnie To, Kurosawa, los Cohen, Michel Gondry, Fellini, Hitchcock, Villeneuve, Shane Meadows and an infinite list of amazing film directors.
Within the cinema, I especially appreciate the work of cinematographers, who I admire deeply.

About music I listen many many different styles. Queens of the Stone Age, Ärvo Part, Tryo, Danzig, Alt-J, Radiohead, UNKLE, Tv on the radio, Elliot Smith, Moderat, Ratatat, Mogwai, Sigur Rós, Gotan Project, Joy Division, Flogging Molly, Jeff Buckley and another infinite list.

And I enjoy so much reading and collecting comic books with that background music. About books I love everything, but I what I read the most are essays and science fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dinner and share a good chat with my family and a lovely Indonesians we met on a small island and end up running and dancing around the table, on the beach. And the next day, we enjoy together the new year and the fireworks from the highest terrace of Singapore.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching the traditions and peculiarities of my region, and I want to learn something about cooking, because I'm almost completely useless in the kitchen. Almost.
